Refreshingly Rude
Each Rude Guerrilla Theater performance takes you on a journey. I am often shocked but never disappointed (“Honesty That Isn’t for the Squeamish,” by Mike Boehm, July 21). Even with so-so material, the experience stays with you for several days. This can only happen if the theater has courage and intelligence. A fancy palace or ornate scenery is not needed. Big bucks is often the kiss of death to creativity, yet how can we not wish this gem of a group some greater financial reward without altering its soul?
