Woman Convicted of Fraud, Theft Charges

A Ventura woman who stole thousands from her employer has been convicted of eight fraud and theft charges, authorities said.
Katherine A. Bordeaux, 38, was a bookkeeper for Ventura-based Intercontinental Realty when she stole more than $191,000, Dist. Atty. Michael D. Bradbury’s office said Thursday.
Bordeaux pleaded guilty to stealing cash deposits and to forging checks, authorities said.
Sentencing is set for Aug. 14. Bordeaux faces up to four years in state prison.
