What’s Closed on the Fourth

Thursday is Independence Day. The following schedule will be observed:

Offices: City, county and federal offices and courts will be closed.

Mail: No mail delivery; post offices will be closed.

Libraries: Most libraries will be closed.

Banks: Most banking institutions will be closed.

Schools: Public schools will be closed.

Public transportation: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on their reduced holiday schedule.

Trash collection: No collections; pickups will be one day late for the rest of the week.

Metrolink: Trains won’t run.
