Agency Whistle-Blowers Are Offered a Settlement
From Times Wire Reports
MARIPOSA — The San Francisco Housing Authority has offered two former workers $320,000 to settle a 1995 lawsuit in which Carmen Rosales and Michael Meadows allege they were punished for exposing wrongdoing at the agency.
According to the proposed settlement, under which the agency would admit no wrongdoing, Rosales would get $265,000 and Meadows would get $55,000, said Deputy City Atty. Donald Margolis. In return, Rosales and Meadows would drop all claims against the agency.
