Factual or Farcical?
Per usual, Richard Riordan plays both fast and loose with facts and won’t answer direct questions (“Riordan Starts State Bus Tour, Criticizes Davis,†Jan. 17). He said Gov. Gray Davis hasn’t put any money away in case of emergencies, when in fact Davis’ reserve fund is the largest in state history.
When asked what programs he would cut due to a tax revenue shortfall, Riordan has no answer. This is the guy we should elect governor?
