Smith’s Lawyer Challenges Stepson
A lawyer for Anna Nicole Smith on Friday described the ex-Playboy playmate’s stepson as the person who decided she would not receive any of his oil tycoon father’s inheritance.
Attorney Philip Boesch challenged Pierce Marshall’s earlier testimony that his father made his own financial decisions and that he just helped with the details.
It was Marshall’s third day of cross-examination in U.S. District Court in Santa Ana. J. Howard Marshall II’s son is appealing a previous decision to award Smith, his father’s widow, more than $400 million of the estate.
