Judge Urged to Expedite Ruling on Airport

Burbank city officials Thursday asked a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to quickly rule on the legality of a voter-approved ballot measure that limits expansion of Burbank Airport.
The city asked for the ruling in a lawsuit that it filed last fall against the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority. The city brought the suit to determine whether Measure A violates state and local laws.
