Faint Hopes

Jeb Bush’s rival for the governorship of Florida, Janet Reno, faints, sparking doubts on her fitness to govern and making her election campaign even more of an uphill climb than it already is (Feb. 1). When President Bush fainted after choking on a pretzel, nobody questioned his ability to remain president--at least not in print. You just have to wonder where the Bush family gets its luck.
