An 18-year-old man was killed on a freeway in San Fernando early Sunday morning after his car overturned and was struck by a teenage driver under the influence of drugs, authorities said.
Anthony Martinez was ejected from his car and died after a 16-year-old driver hit him at 2 a.m. on the southbound Golden State Freeway near the San Diego Freeway ramp, said Officer Alex Gonzalez of the California Highway Patrol.

Fatal Crash--In Monday’s California section, the California Highway Patrol incorrectly identified a driver in an auto collision that killed a second man. Anthony Martinez, 18, of West Covina, died after his car collided with one driven by Arthur Paz, 25, of North Hollywood, not a 16-year-old.
It was unknown why Martinez’s car overturned.
The 16-year-old, whose name is being withheld because he is a minor, was released to his parents, Officer Rosa Ray said.
