Broker Pleads Guilty to Scamming Clients
A Yorba Linda broker accused of bilking more than two dozen clients out of nearly $3 million pleaded guilty this week to bank fraud, officials said.
Todd Long, 33, faces up to five years in prison when he is sentenced on March 24, said Thom Mrozek, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors alleged that Long, who worked at First Union Securities, scammed clients for three years, taking money from them by having them sign documents under false pretenses.
