Wednesday vs. Sacramento, 5:30 p.m., Ch. 7 -- The game of the early season when the NBA released its schedule. The Kings cooperated. The Lakers had a ring ceremony, held team meetings, shook their heads a lot.

Saturday at Denver, 6 p.m. PST, Ch. 9 -- Finally, the trade that hurt both teams: Marcus Camby out for Nuggets, Antonio McDyess out for Knicks.

Sunday vs. Toronto, 6:30 p.m., Fox Sports Net -- After all the hype, all the promise, it is true: Vince Carter has become Michael Jordan. Of course, Jordan is almost 40 now.
