Rain Likely to Taper Off Today
From a Times Staff Writer
Another Pacific storm was moving through Ventura County on Saturday but was expected to clear by this morning, according to the National Weather Service office in Oxnard.
The rainfall started about 3 p.m., and the storm had dropped about one-third of an inch in most parts of the county by early Saturday evening. The snow level was at 4,000 feet and up to 5 inches of snow was expected near Lockwood Valley.
No major crashes were reported and weather officials said most of today would be cloudy with highs in the mid-50s.
