Pepperdine vs. Montana, at Palo Alto, 7, KPLS (830, delayed 8 p.m.) -- The Waves advanced to the championship game of the Stanford Invitational to meet Montana, an upset winner over the host Cardinal. The Grizzlies are led by three-point shooters David Bell and Kevin Criswell. Bell made six of eight three-point baskets and had 24 points in Monday’s win over Stanford.

UC Riverside (1-2) at St. Mary’s (4-3), 7 -- St. Mary’s is shooting for its first winning season since 1996-97, when the Gaels went 23-8 and qualified for the NCAA tournament. Frederic Adjiwanou, a 6-foot-9 forward from France, scored 16 points Saturday in his first start, but Stanford won, 76-58. Freshman forward Nate Carter is averaging 19 points and 8.3 rebounds for Riverside.
