Farmers Find 2 Missiles Fired at Israeli Airplane
From Times Wire Reports
Kenyan farmers have found the two missiles fired in a failed attack on an Israeli airliner near Mombasa last week, police said.
Deputy Police Commissioner William Langat said the missiles -- one had exploded and the other was live -- were discovered in fields about six miles north of Mombasa’s airport.
Langat also said police detained a 14th person -- a Kenyan -- for questioning about the attack on the plane and a near-simultaneous suicide bombing that killed 16 people near Mombasa on Nov. 28.
