Body in Trunk May Be That of Kidnapped Man

Police on Thursday found the body of a man in the trunk of a car.
The body, found about 9 a.m. in the 1500 block of South Chester Street, may be that of a man kidnapped on Tuesday from a Long Beach home near West Trafford Street and North Long Beach Boulevard, said Long Beach Police Sgt. Paul LeBaron.
Police said the missing man and a friend had met at the home with two or three other men who attacked them and tied them up. One man escaped and called police.
