Caltech Names First Woman Vice President

The California Institute of Technology has hired a top University of Chicago administrator as its vice president for student affairs, marking the first time the Pasadena school has named a woman to a senior administrative post.
Caltech on Monday announced the appointment of Margo Marshak, the University of Chicago’s vice president and dean of students, to its student affairs position.
Marshak, 58, will become one of six vice presidents at Caltech and its first full-time vice president for student affairs, officials said.
