Woman, 80, Struck and Killed Crossing Street

An 80-year-old Santa Ana woman was struck by a car and killed while walking across a street Saturday night, authorities said.
Than Thi Vo was outside the crosswalk in the 4300 block of West 1st Street when she was hit by a car traveling west, Santa Ana police said. Paramedics took Vo to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she reportedly died of her injuries.
Police did not release any information about the driver. Police said the incident is being investigated.
