Prosecutors Won’t Block Kline’s Hacker Interview

Reversing course, federal prosecutors said Tuesday that they will not block Judge Ronald C. Kline’s attorneys from interviewing a Canadian computer hacker who allegedly found child pornography on the jurist’s home computer.
Prosecutors relented after learning that Kline’s attorneys have already discovered the hacker’s identity.
Kline’s lawyers have argued that the hacker might have been working as a law enforcement agent when he broke into Kline’s computer, throwing doubt on the legality of the search.
