Ex-Global Workers Seek Compensation
Former employees of Global Crossing Ltd. asked a bankruptcy judge to approve up to $5.6 million in payments to cover benefits, severance and unpaid company expenses owed to 1,200 employees before the firm’s Jan. 28 bankruptcy filing. The payments amount to less than the compensation requested for Global Crossing Chief Executive John Legere under compensation plans now before the court.
