Impact of 9/11 on Artists Will Be Focus of Panel

Actress Swoosie Kurtz and Joel Surnow, executive producer of the Fox series “24,” will join in a panel discussion at the Museum of Television & Radio in Beverly Hills tonight about how artists have been affected by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Also on the panel will be two Los Angeles museum officials: Jeremy Strick, director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, and Irene Hirano, executive director and president of the Japanese American National Museum. Cultural critic Neal Gabler will moderate.
The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and last about 90 minutes. It will be held at the TV museum, 465 N. Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills. Tickets are $10. Information: (310) 786-1091.
