Ducks Interview Ex-Sabre President

Doug Moss, former Buffalo Sabre president, has interviewed for the senior vice president job with the Mighty Ducks.

Moss was the International League’s commissioner before the league folded after last season.

He has also been the president of the Madison Square Garden network.

Dean Jordan, who ran the Entertainment and Sports Arena for the Carolina Hurricanes, and Tim Ryan, general manager of the Arrowhead Pond, are also being considered.

A decision is expected this week.

Chicago Blackhawk defenseman Lyle Odelein was suspended for one game by the league for cross-checking Jamal Mayers of the St. Louis Blues in Game 3 of their playoff series Sunday.... The Czech Republic added Jaromir Jagr to its World Hockey Championships roster. The U.S. added Derian Hatcher, Ted Donato and goalie Gregg Naumenko. The tournament begins April 26 in Sweden.
