Three adults were hospitalized and four other people--including two children--were treated for minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Buena Park.
The collision occurred about 8 a.m. as a Chevrolet traveled south on Knott Avenue and a Honda exited the eastbound Artesia Freeway, Buena Park Police Lt. Ken Coovert said. The Honda struck the Blazer, sending it into the median, where it rolled over twice and landed on its roof.
Three adults, who apparently weren’t wearing seat belts, were ejected from the Blazer. One was pinned underneath, Coovert said. Two of the adults were reported in fair condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange, and the third was in serious condition. Two children riding in the vehicle suffered minor injuries and were treated at UCI.
The driver and passenger in the Honda were treated at the scene, Coovert said.
None of the victims’ names were immediately available.
