Girl Dies; Mother, Brother Hurt in Fire

A 3-year-old girl died in Inglewood on Tuesday during a residential fire that left her 30-year-old mother and 6-year-old brother hospitalized for burns and smoke inhalation, authorities said.
The woman and her son were in stable condition at an Inglewood hospital, a spokeswoman said.
Los Angeles County firefighters were investigating the cause of the 12:30 p.m. blaze that badly damaged a triplex home at 321 E. 97th St., Fire Capt. Brian Jordan said.
