As the investigation of Tuesday’s terrorist attacks continued, the casualty figures began to become clearer. But much remains uncertain. These are the latest numbers available Thursday night:
AIRLINE CRASHES
Total Victims: 266

WORLD TRADE CENTER
Confirmed dead: 94
Dead identified: 35
Missing: 4,763, including about 300 firefighters and 60 NYPD and Port Authority police officers.
Injured: 3,800

PENTAGON
Believed dead: 126
Injured: 94 treated at area hospitals, including at least 10 in critical condition.
