Kathleen Freeman
With regret I note the passing of Kathleen Freeman (obituary, Aug. 25). She provided many hours of entertainment to the many who sought live entertainment after the dearth occasioned by World War II. I often saw her appearances at the Circle Theater on Santa Monica Boulevard in the late ‘40s. A great number of small venues showcased her talents, along with Paul Richards and others who went on to fame in movies and, later, television. Thank you for your talent and the fun you provided, Kathleen. You will be missed.
