Grants Awarded to Children’s Programs

More than $341,000 in grants were awarded Tuesday to 15 programs that aim to improve day care and provide enrichment programs for children, the Thelma Pearl Howard Foundation announced.
The grants include $20,000 for the Deaf West Theatre Company of North Hollywood.
