Terry Matz to Be New Assistant City Manager

Terry Matz, Stanton’s city manager for the past six years, will take over in December as the new assistant city manager in Brea.
Matz has worked in municipal government for 27 years in cities across Southern California, including Artesia, Commerce, Duarte and Blythe.
Beginning Dec. 10 in Brea, he will manage all internal city operations, supervise preparation of the city budget and work on legislative analysis. He will also serve as director of the general services department.
