Missing the Boat
Regarding “Easy Come, Easy Go on Holiday at Morro Bay†(Sept. 16): My girlfriend and I drifted off the beaten path to Baywood Park years ago, only we fell in love with the Baywood Bed & Breakfast Inn mentioned in the article. Having also stayed at the Back Bay Inn, where writer Christopher Reynolds and his wife stayed, I encourage the Reynoldses to try the other place next time. Beautiful single rooms go for less than the $160 they paid; in fact, we paid exactly that for a double room with two bedrooms and a living room. Wine, cheese, breakfast, plenty of drinks and snacks, and a good staff enhanced the picturesque sunrise and sunset over the bay.
Although Christopher and Mary Frances found the bay, they missed the boat.
