Rodney King Arrested on Drug Charge
For the third time in just over a month, Rodney King has been arrested, this time on Saturday for allegedly being under the influence of PCP, authorities said.
King allegedly was trying to start a vehicle at around 12:26 a.m. at 9th and Parcells streets when police made contact with him, said Pomona police Cpl. Iaian Miller. King failed a field sobriety test, Miller said, and was taken to Pomona Valley Hospital for treatment and then booked on suspicion of being under the influence of PCP.
King posted $2,500 bail at 4:30 p.m., Miller said. In recent weeks, King has been arrested twice on suspicion of being under the influence of PCP and indecent exposure.
