Americans Told to Be Cautious After Bombing

As investigators searched for clues in a bombing that killed a U.S. citizen and another foreigner, the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh warned thousands of Americans in Saudi Arabia to be cautious.
The blast injured another American, as well as a Briton and two Filipinos, a spokesman at King Fahd Hospital said. The nationalities of the other foreigner killed and of a fifth injured person were not immediately known.
A U.S. Embassy spokesman said about 11,000 American civilians live in the Khobar area, where 19 U.S. service personnel were killed in a 1996 bombing.
There was no immediate evidence of a link to the U.S. military buildup in the region in preparation for strikes on Afghanistan.
