Police Seek Driver in Race That Killed 2
Police are seeking a driver involved in a drag race that resulted in a fatal crash Monday night.
The driver of a yellow Mustang was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence. Erin Gormley, 18, of San Clemente is free on $50,000 bail, authorities said.
Police are seeking the driver of a black Mustang that left the scene.
Two men were killed when their van was struck by Gormley’s car. Raymond Scott Shelly, 40, of San Clemente and the second man, whose name has not been released, were trapped in the van, which burst into flames.
