Sam’s Wine Dinner: Winemaker Michael Brown brings the fruits of his Buttonwood Farm label as well as samples from his private label, Kalyra, and new M. Brown label to this dinner. Zov’s Friends: Zov Karamardian of Zov’s Bistro in Tustin brings Julia Child and Emeril Lagasse together at Karamardian’s restaurant for two days of fund-raising. On Dec. 1, Karamardian cooks a seven-course meal for her guests of honor at 6 p.m. Tickets are $1,500 per person; proceeds go to the James Beard Foundation. On Dec. 2, Karamardian, Child and Lagassepresent a cooking demonstration at 1 p.m. Lunch is served afterward. This event is $500 per person with proceeds benefiting the James Beard Foundation.
