Fullerton Man Killed When Two Trucks Collide
A Fullerton man was pronounced dead at the scene early Monday when the pickup he was driving was struck in an intersection, police said.
Police said Rafael Garcia, 27, and passenger Daniel Hernandez, 27, were northbound on East Street when an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado on Lincoln Avenue collided with them. The pickup burst into flames.
Hernandez was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange in serious condition. The Silverado’s driver, Maria Ibarra, 19, of Santa Ana, was unhurt. From Times Staff Writers
