Firefighters’ Annual Food Drive Underway

Ventura County firefighters have started their annual holiday food drive, placing bright red collection barrels outside fire stations across the county.
Donors can drop off canned goods and nonperishable food through Jan. 1. Collected goods will be distributed to food banks in Oxnard, Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks.
Volunteers from Food Share, Care & Share and Manna will distribute the food to needy families during the holiday season.
