The Conejo Valley Unified School District is seeking public input on qualifications for the next superintendent.
Consultants will run public meetings at the district board room Tuesday. People who want to attend should call Karen Ise in the superintendent’s office at 497-9511, Ext. 202.
For those unable to attend, ideas can be sent to Leadership Associates, PMB-455, 23052-H Alicia Parkway, Mission Viejo, CA 92692, or faxed to (949) 461-9119.
Neil Schmidt, former superintendent of the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, will serve as Conejo schools chief through this school year. Officials are seeking a permanent replacement for Jerry Gross, who left the Thousand Oaks district in June after eight years.
