Woman Shot to Death; Her Boyfriend Wounded

A woman was killed and her boyfriend wounded in Fontana early Tuesday by a jealous ex-lover, authorities said.
Guadalupe Tovar, 34, fatally shot Talethia Strong, 23, and wounded Louie Esparza, 33, in Strong’s home on Citrus Avenue, according to police. Strong was trying to get a restraining order against Tovar, said Robin Haynal, a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson. Tovar is believed to have fled in a white 1986 Nissan 300ZX, Haynal said.
