Convenient Airports

Re “Airport Pact Points the Way,” editorial, May 25: Yes, it is imperative that the Board of Airport Commissioners allocates money to market outlying airports, especially Palmdale. Palmdale is not distant to the million or more of us in north L.A., south Kern and west San Bernardino counties. Presently it takes us at least three hours to get to LAX from our home in Agua Dulce, and that is if we can find a parking place at the FlyAway in Van Nuys and there are no hang-ups on the 405. Burbank is closer, but the parking is not convenient. We would fly out of Palmdale tomorrow if there were flights. Do not spend money on LAX expansion, but wisely spend our tax dollars on usable, convenient airports. Now.
