N2H2 Names Philip Welt CEO, President

N2H2 Inc., an Internet filtering and content management company based in Seattle, named former Microsoft Corp. executive Philip Welt to succeed Peter Nickerson as chief executive and president. Nickerson will stay on as chairman. Welt helped launch Microsoft’s Excel spreadsheet software in the early 1980s and later was sales director for Latin America.
