Re “Lott to Oust Senate Parliamentarian Who Ruled Against GOP,” May 8: Question: What do you call a senator who for years lambasted the sitting president for a lack of honesty, integrity and honor, then turns around and fires his own Senate parliamentarian for doing an honest job by correctly ruling on and enforcing points of parliamentary procedure and order when they countermanded what the senator wanted?
Answer: a) a Republican; b) a party leader; c) an unbelievable hypocrite; d) Trent Lott; e) all of the above.
