Trying Youths as Adults

* Re “Youth to Be Tried as Adult in Santana High Killings,” April 28: When a child is tried as an adult, does this mean that if found not guilty, that the child is now entitled to serve his country, get married, drink in bars, attend R-rated movies and drive a car? There’s nothing wrong with getting tough on crime, but let’s ditch these absurd double standards first.
