Boy Found Frozen, Near Death Recovers

A 2-year-old boy who nearly froze to death after wandering outside in subzero temperatures has been discharged from the hospital, and doctors say he has made a remarkable recovery.
Les “Paulie†Hynek was released from the Mayo Clinic’s Eugenio Litta Children’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
Mark Hynek of Eleva, Wis., found his son face down in the snow Feb. 27. It is unclear why the boy went out or how long he was outside.
When Paulie was found, his body temperature was in the low 60s.
