* Blues--Noted blues guitarist David “Kid†Ramos and his band will be the featured attraction on Friday at 8:30 p.m. at Victoria Hall, 33 W. Victoria St., Santa Barbara. * Orchids--The 56th annual Santa Barbara International Orchid Show, “Orchid Illusions,†rolls into town on Friday and continues throughout the weekend at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara. Hundreds of orchid species wil be on display, and more than 75 exhibitors wil be on hand with flowers, supplies, corsages, posters and pins for sale. Hours: Friday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets: $8 general; $6 students, seniors, advance and tour groups; younger than 12 free. * Recital--Veteran composer-pianist Adolph K. Boehm and baritone Lee Poulis will team up to present the premiere of “Robert Frost Set to Music†on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Santa Barbara Unitarian Society, 1535 Santa Barbara St. $10-$25. 963-4408.

* Voices--The Santa Barbara Quire of Voyces will perform this weekend at St. Anthony’s Seminary Chapel, 2300 Garden St., Santa Barbara. The “Voices of Spain†program will be highlighted by choral literature of the Spanish Renaissance and the 20th century. * Baroque--Camerata Pacifica Baroque will present violinist Ralph Allen on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Santa Barbara Unitarian Society, 1535 Santa Barbara St. Allen’s unaccompanied portion of the program will include sonatas and partitas for violin by Bach.
