It May Be a Longshot, but We’ll Think About It
They have been racing at Santa Anita for more than two months and The Times’ ace handicapper, Curtis Crayon, is in a horrendous slump. Here’s my plan: Why don’t you pick the horses for a week and let Crayon (who has to be the T.J. Simers of the handicapping world) write the Page 2 column for a like period.
As they say in baseball, it’s a trade that can help both teams.
