Secession Ramifications

Re “Council Backs Report Critical of Secession,” June 21:

I am so grateful that the L.A. City Council is challenging the secessionist group Valley VOTE. These megalomaniacs are attempting to hijack an entire city. They have no agenda. They just want everyone to vote for a breakup, and they’ll worry about the details later. Later is too late! The premise advanced by Valley VOTE is that we in the Valley don’t get our fair share. Of what? Misery? The secessionists are miserable, and they want company (and power and jobs). They also threaten anyone who disagrees. Thank you, L.A. City Council, for your efforts to save us.
