50 Evacuated, 3 Rescued From Apartment Fire

Fifty people were evacuated and three people, including a 2-year-old girl, were rescued from a top-floor balcony during an apartment fire Saturday night, authorities said.
The blaze broke out about 6:15 p.m. inside a third-floor unit at the Shadow Hills Apartments in the 200 block of West Wilbur Drive, a five-building complex for low-income residents.
No serious injuries were reported. The cause was unknown late Saturday.
