Teen Shot in Head in Gang Confrontation

A Van Nuys gang member is in critical condition after being shot in the head Saturday in Reseda, Los Angeles police said.
The 17-year-old male, whose name was not released, was driving with two fellow gang members in the 6600 block of Darby Avenue when they exchanged stares with a group of rival gang members about 12:30 a.m., LAPD Det. Rick Swanston said. The car returned to the block a few minutes later and was fired upon, he said.
