TriZetto Signs Deal With HMO in Utah

TriZetto Group Inc., an information technology and services company for the health-care industry, said it has signed a contract with a Utah health maintenance organization that is expected to generate $100 million over 10 years.
The Newport Beach company said in a press release that Altius Health Plans Inc. will use TriZetto software and technology and TriZetto employees to host and manage administrative functions over the Internet among doctors, members and the company. Altius HMO plans serve 113,000 members through employer benefit plans.
TriZetto stock gained 54 cents to close at $12.59 a share on Nasdaq.
