Nobodies? Hardly
After reading Liz Smith’s column (“So, Who Are These People?,†July 3), I think she should bone up not only on her reading but also her listening and TV viewing.

How sad that we’ve reached a point where a nationally syndicated columnist is willing to proclaim her cultural illiteracy in print.
Perhaps if Smith removed her lips from the derrieres of film and theater “celebrities†for five minutes, she might recognize the other names on Time’s “America’s Best†list.
