Bush and Brilliance

Re “For ‘South Park’s’ Creators, George Dubya Knows Best” (Jan. 1):
James Endrst writes, “And our president-elect can start worrying.” Our president-elect can look forward to reelection in 2004 if people like Matt Stone and Trey Parker continue to be looked upon by the Hollywood elite as creating a “none-too-subtle brand of brilliance.”
These guys will receive a $1-million-per-episode budget to produce a sitcom where pushing the comedic envelope includes portraying Bush’s daughters as dumb, incestuous lesbians (how tolerant is that?) and will tackle “ludicrously vile” issues such as abortion. Endrst offers the hilarious idea of using an aborted fetus as a comedic prop (gee, James, give up your day job and become a sitcom writer).
Keep up the “brilliant” work, boys, and if election 2004 is a rerun, we’ll have you to thank.
