Batch of Infant Medicine Recalled

A single lot of an infant prescription cold medicine is being recalled nationwide because of an error in the instructions on the product’s label, a drug company announced. Following the incorrect instructions could cause an overdose and serious illness or death, the Great Southern Laboratories of Houston said in recalling 6,135 1-ounce packages of Cydec Drops. The packages are in lot number 02950 and were distributed to pharmacies beginning Dec. 19. Consumers may call Great Southern at (800) 747-0783.
